About
A family shop built to keep trucks moving
Big Rig Garage started as the in-house shop for a working carrier and grew into a full-service heavy-duty operation on the south side of Indianapolis. We are family owned and operated, and we treat every customer like family and every truck like it just rolled out of our own bay.
Our story
We know what a truck down actually costs
Big Rig Garage started as the in-house shop that kept RTS's own trucks running. We were tired of long dealer waits and shops that treated a downed truck like just another ticket, so we built the kind of shop we always wished we could call. Word got around, other fleets started asking if we would work on their trucks too, and we opened the bay doors to everyone.
Today we handle heavy-duty diagnostics and repair, DOT and annual inspections, preventive maintenance, and a full in-house collision, body, and paint operation. Our 4 mobile service trucks bring the shop out to your yard and the roadside, and we keep weekend and after-hours coverage for the times nobody else picks up the phone.
It all adds up to one shop that can diagnose it, fix it, repaint it, letter it, and keep the paperwork, without sending your truck all over town.

How we work
The standards we hold
Treated like family
You are a name here, not a work order in a stack. Whether you run one truck or a hundred, you get the same honest work from the same techs who already know your equipment.
Straight answers
You get a real diagnosis and a written estimate before we touch anything. We will never sell you labor or parts you do not need.
Uptime first
We measure ourselves by how fast we get your unit back on the road. Every hour it sits costs you money, and we take that personally.
One roof
Mechanical, collision, paint, and lettering all happen in one building, so getting a truck fixed never turns into chasing a handful of vendors.
Get your truck back to work
Drop it, ship it, or get a mobile truck rolling. Tell us what is down and we will tell you when it moves.
